Anthony Mahowald established Mahowald Insurance Agency in 1930 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. His son, Robert A. Mahowald joined him in 1956 and quickly focused the agency on commercial insurance.

Now in the fourth generation of the Mahowald family, the agency has grown to one of Central Minnesota's leading property and casualty agencies with a staff of over 30, offering products from America's leading insurers.
